SPECIALIZED TRAINING, WORK EXPERIENCE, HONORS
ADRIANA DOMINGUEZ has nearly 15 years of experience in publishing, most recently as Executive Editor at HarperCollins Children's Books, where she managed the children's division of the Latino imprint, Rayo. Prior to that, she was Children's Reviews Editor at Criticas magazine, published by Library Journal. Adriana joined Full Circle in 2009, and is based on the East Coast (New York). She is interested in children's picture books, middle grade novels, and (literary) young adult novels. On the adult side, she is looking for literary, women's, and historical fiction, and in the area of non-fiction, for multicultural, pop culture, how-to, and titles geared toward women of all ages. **Please note: Adriana will be closed to submissions for the holidays from December 5 to February 1. Adriana is not accepting science fiction, fantasy, dystopian or paranormal submissions. She will not be responding to queries or submissions until February 1, 2012. TAYLOR MARTINDALE is a new member of Full Circle Literary, actively acquiring primarily young adult projects. She began agenting with the Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency, and prior to that, was the submissions coordinator at Bliss Literary Agency. She is a graduate of The College of William and Mary, where she studied English and Hispanic Studies. Taylor is looking for young adult fiction across all sub-genres. She is interested in finding unique and unforgettable voices and characters that stay with you long after a story has finished. For contemporary YA, she would like to find both the uplifting/romantic stories and gritty, harsh stories about the darker side of teen life. She loves working with multicultural projects that teach teens about other people’s lives – both at home and abroad. In paranormal/fantasy/urban fantasy, she is looking for new and intriguing concepts with characters who truly manage to make their worlds alive and engaging. She is also interested in select children’s picture books, light YA sci-fi and women’s fiction.

SARA SCIUTO is a new member of Full Circle Literary. A recent graduate of University of California San Diego, Sara also completed literature coursework at NYU. Before joining Full Circle, she gained valuable experience working on film and foreign rights with the Taryn Fagerness Agency. Sara is actively building her list with a focus on middle grade and young adult, in particular, dystopian, science fiction, fantasy, and unique paranormal. She also enjoys contemporary stories with a strong, authentic voice (but no chick-lit, please). She has a particular soft spot for anything in the Deep South (sweet contemporary to dark paranormal), gritty contemporary, utilitarian dystopias or dystopian thrillers, anything with international locales or period settings (think flappers or "Mad Men"), and anything with artistic themes. Sara is also looking for standout picture books, especially those with a quirky or humorous narrative. She’s also considering select nonfiction in the areas of craft, design, how-to, lifestyle, and pop culture. Currently, she is NOT considering any adult fiction (all genres).
