Word.Link is always looking for new, emerging talent in genre fiction -- particularly crime, mysteries, and political thrillers. Getting new talent into print can be a long and arduous journey, but if an author and his or her agent are committed to a 'never say die' attitude, there is still opportunity in mainstream publishing for rewarding experiences. All things are possible. Commitment is essential.

With several years experience writing for TV and a couple of English degrees in the Creative Writing process behind me, I have been helping develop writers of great talent into talented writers of great skill for a dozen years. In New Zealand I am widely considered one of the best manuscript assessors for making popular fiction marketable. I am an American who divides my time between my home in New Zealand and my home in the States. I am currently working on a non-fiction book on how to make your fiction marketable and a third novel. For the pure enjoyment of books, I spend most weekends working in a dusty old used bookstore.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Tolkien has already written the Lord of the Rings... please no more submissions attempting to recreate that! No more 'first in a trilogy' - tell me the whole story in one book! I like young adult coming-of-age stories, but am not interested in children's books, collections of poetry, or erotica. Thanks.
