Michael has three unpublished novels available:
- FAMILY, PACK, a contemporary fantasy about a young father who's trying to determine if his infant daughter has inherited his werewolf gene, just as another pack of werewolves tries to move into their hometown.
- A SUDDEN OUTBREAK OF MAGIC, a young-adult fantasy novel about contagious magic unleashed by two teens in Dubuque, Iowa, of all places.
- THE ALL NATIONS TEAM, a historical baseball novel (and ghost story) based on the first-ever integrated team of not just black and white players, but players from Mexico, China, the Philippines, and elsewhere.
See Projects on Offer (below) for more information and links.
Michael's published books include:
He has published over four dozen short stories in places such as Asimov's, Strange Horizons, Polyphony, Electric Velocipede, O. Henry Festival Stories, and Paper Cities.

|
"In his third novel, speculative-fiction rising star Jasper offers a finely nuanced blend of fantasy and horror." — Carl Hays, Booklist (for A GATHERING OF DOORWAYS)
"A strong and compulsively readable novel about family and friends and the horrors, ordinary and not so ordinary, that beset them. From first page to last, Mike Jasper’s A GATHERING OF DOORWAYS is a cut above." — Lucius Shepard, author of The Jaguar Hunter and Softspoken
"While this world may seem darker and more dystopian by the day, avid, talented newcomers like Jasper help us keep the faith." — Faren Miller, Locus (for GUNNING FOR THE BUDDHA)
"Michael Jasper is a writer of great integrity, passion, and imagination. He creates imaginary characters who feel realer than some people I've actually met." — Tim Pratt, author of The Strange Adventures of Rangergirl, Poison Sleep, and Spell Games
